Green Magazine: Hawaii Gas

In December 2018, our project with Hawai‘i Gas became the first in the state to capture and process biogas from the City and County of Honolulu’s Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant on O‘ahu. The renewable natural gas (RNG) generated from this site is equivalent to eliminating the need for nearly 15,000 barrels of oil and reducing greenhouse gases by the amount produced by 400 cars annually.
